Round beads in groups of three chase each other in this elegant choker necklace. The Murano glass beads come in two varieties: on either side a dark blue and a periwinkle bead, made to shine by the precious silver placed underneath the glass; in the middle a bead with a periwinkle core, and pieces of silver and Avventurina submerged in transparent glass.
This refined necklace is made distinctive precisely by the Avventurina - a kind of glass with a rich history, that is said to have been discovered accidentally, and requires a long and delicate process to be created.
It's part of our Baète Collection, whose name literally means "small spheres", and often becomes a synonym for beads among beadmakers, since that's their typical shape.

Why Miani Venetian Jewelry?
We are a small family business designing and creating jewelry with authentic Murano Glass beads. All our products are handmade by us and by other esteemed artisans in Venice, using only original Murano glass produced on the island of Murano.
When you buy one of our products, you buy more than just a jewel: the centuries of artistry, beauty and charm of Venice are captured in each of our handcrafted beads, and we'll make sure that you'll carry with you part of Venice's artistic legacy and of its unmistakable allure.
Our beads are crafted following the traditional lampworking technique, an art that goes back to at least the 17th century. It requires the use of a small burner to melt coloured glass canne - sticks - over a copper stick, where it is shaped using brass pliers. Various decorating techniques are then used to make each bead a unique work of art.
